Ali Bacon from South Glos has had her latest historical novel accepted by women's publisher Linen Press. The Absent Heart, a follow-up to Ali's In the Blink of an Eye is due out early next year. It was inspired by the letters of Robert Louis Stevenson to his muse Frances Sitwell and and uncovers a Victorian love triangle involving romance, bromance and more. You may know Ali from her readings at Stroud Short Stories where she has also acted as co-judge.
