Gloucestershire Libraries FREE ‘Writing for Magazines’ workshops as part of NaNoWrMo

Have you ever wanted to learn more about writing feature articles and getting into print in magazines? These FREE workshops will cover developing ideas, finding audiences, researching, interviewing and approaching magazines and their editors. These skills are very transferable into all other areas of writing; creating a strong narrative, discovering interesting characters and research. It can also be another exciting way to see your name in print! From local and national issues to your own or others personal experience.

  • Longlevens Library Thurs 9th, 16th and 23rd November, 7-9pm. A series of 3 workshops building on skills each week. Book here
  • Nailsworth Library Mon 20th Nov, 4-6pm. A single session workshop. Book here

On the home page: click on the large Events square.

On the right under quick links, click on all events

On the left, click on audience under filter results

Click on adults

Scroll and scroll till you find what you want!  You can also click the 'and' button and click on location… GOOD LUCK!
