Wotton Arts Festival (15th April – 3rd May)
To mark its 50th anniversary year, Wotton Arts Festival, which takes place across about a fortnight each spring in Wotton-under-Edge, will this year include literary events for the first time, facilitated by Debbie Young, director of the nearby Hawkesbury Upton Literature Festival.
The Wotton Arts Festival will include a poetry evening led by the award-winning Gloucestershire poet Shirley Wright; a historical novelists’ debate chaired by Lucienne Boyce and featuring Gloucestershire authors David Penny, Anita Davison and Jayne Davis; and a series of writing and illustrating workshops at local primary schools including Cheltenham poet Roger Turner and Gloucestershire author and illustrator Nicky Hill.
See you there !
