CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOPS

Following the success of their workshops in Gloucester, Sue Johnson and Joy Thomas are now offering monthly workshops at Tewkesbury Library.

The workshops are suitable for beginners as well as more experienced writers. They are aimed at building confidence, generating ideas and creating individual pieces of writing. Sue and Joy take it in turns to offer short writing exercises that are stimulating and fun. There are opportunities for participants to read their work if they wish to do so.

Joy is published as a poet and short story writer. She has an active interest in helping those who are not always heard. In 2017, she co-edited a poetry collection entitled ‘Silent Voices’ with Jo Allmond.
