BOOKINGS NOW OPEN FOR SPRING HAWKESBURY UPTON LITERATURE FESTIVAL

Tickets are now on sale for the next Hawkesbury Upton Literature Festival, to be held in the parish church of St Mary the Virgin, Hawkesbury GL9 1BN on Saturday 27th April from 10.30am until 4pm. This time, the theme will be "A Sense of Place". The programme will address the theme from all angles, from celebrating prose and fiction set in Gloucestershire to travelling back in time to 18th century Wales with Lucienne Boyce and 1930s and 1940s Europe with travel writer and biographer Felice Hardy, author of "The Tennis Champion Who Fled the Nazis", and into the future with speculative fiction author Stephen Oram - and much more. Priced £10, tickets include a £2 book voucher valid on the day and coffee and cake throughout. More details will be added to the website here as more speakers are confirmed.
